Tight hips and hammies? This great stretch circuit is always a go to for me! Plank walk outs, quick plank hold, the pigeon stretch on both sides, plank walk back up and toe touch stretching your hamstrings. 
Mamas are usually so tight in these areas, and stretching regularly and strengthening your core will help you prevent injuries in especially your lower back which is usually a sore spot for many mamas. I love when I’m done stretching or doing yoga, but it’s also hard for me to take the time to do it for some reason. What about you?  Do you do enough stretching for your body? Gut check and back to routines. kombucha is so good for your gut health! Super affordable and comes in different flavors. My body so needed this hearty flavor today after a few days of eating left overs and enjoying all the thanksgiving food! This week we are getting back to healthier options again! Happy December! It’s the most wonderful time of the year, but remember you CAN still stay on track AND enjoy many treats! You just need to find what works for you and your body. 💕 It’s December and I LOVE setting some new fresh goals for the month EVEN, or should I say ESPECIALLY the last month of this year! January is just another month that will come and go, so why not be happy and healthy in December too instead of waiting on the 1/1/20
When it comes to fitness and health we often think our goals have to be around weight loss, or a number on a scale but that is so not true! 
In December a few of my goals are to stretch more, drink a green smoothie every day, drink all my water every day this month, less carbs on the weekdays and more veggies (this cold and snow makes me eat all the carbs!) do more push ups!

This week is all about planning and giving extra thanks. 
These plank variations are super challenging but so fun! Tell me your favorite out of the 5 you want to try and tell me something you are thankful for today. 💕 Mr D was doing some plank rows with his mama today! 💥 I love that the kids get a opportunity to work out and learn about building a strong body next to their mama. ☀️ My friend Nuria from @nuries.desserts made this homemade banana bread with ripe bananas, mix of white and wheat flour, and both white and brown sugar. A hint of vanilla and crushed walnuts in the center make this bread smell and look delicious. It can be eaten as is or warmed for 15 seconds. Either way it is a bit of heaven on your plate.
The recipe is as follow; 
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar 
1/2 cup melted butter (can sub w apple sauce)
2 eggs (I use brown cafe free)
1 tsp vanilla extract 
1 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup white flour 
1 tsp baking soda 
1/2 cup sour cream (I use the lite version)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts 
3 medium ripe banana (mashed)

Melt butter and mix with sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt and stir into the butter mixture. Fold in sour cream, banana and walnuts.
Bake at 350F for 60 mins.

We got to welcome Michelle today to our group!  We played some cards (that never seemed to end 😉) that included burpees, hill sprints, bicep curls, and many other things! And we did lots of core at the end! They worked hard and it was such a fun day in the sun!! ☀️#nevermissatonedmamasmonday Such a great class yesterday! Weather was perfect, we did work at the hill, runs up, core work at the top and some dumbbell work too AND the best part we got to welcome a new mama Anisa and her little guy to our group!
