Key 4 to be more

I recently came up with these 4 pillars to have in the back of the mind that just make so much sense for me, it used to be 3, but you might have realized I just added one, and it’s an important one!

I often feel like we are overcomplicating health and fitness, and these 4 things kept circling around in the space between my ears – if we only would let these 4 things be the “base” in whatever direction we want to take our life, I think it will be a life with ease and less stress to do and be it all. Find YOUR truth what health is to you, keep it basic and let it all flow with ease.

𝘌𝘈𝘛 𝘚𝘔𝘈𝘙𝘛 = The goal is not to eat perfect but smart for 𝕪𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕘𝕠𝕒𝕝𝕤 and 𝕪𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕓𝕠𝕕𝕪. Maybe you are trying to lose weight and yes, then you probably need to “tighten up” your food intake and eat as wholesome as possible. And if you are maintaining your healthy lifestyle you’ll have some more wiggle room here and there for treats. Maybe you are training for a marathon, and yep, then you need to eat smart and fuel your body for that intense training ahead of you. But there is NO one way that’s the best way. It might work with 100% vegan food for some or just no dairy for others. Maybe your body thrives eating gluten free, Keto, using the intermittent fasting windows for your eating pattern, low carb – there is NO right or wrong here. The only way to eat somewhat right and that every “diet” have in common, is to eat less processed crap, as much veggies, fiber, good protein, healthy fat and staying hydrated with water! But what would life be with out pizza and wine nights, drinking a cold IPA at a brewery with some yummy appetizers; or my fave go to > my home made Swedish dark chocolate sticky brownies (𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘵 YOUR 𝘧𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦) 100% guilt free! Guilt should be nowhere to be found in the “smart eating” or toned mamas mindset!

𝘔𝘖𝘝𝘌 𝘋𝘈𝘐𝘓𝘠 = No need to hit the gym, or toned mamas work out daily, but you do need to MOVE. Go for a walk, run, hike, play with the kids, yoga, hiit training, dance party in the kitchen – whatever you like as long as you listen to your body and stay active. Your goal should be a minimum 30min of moving daily. The daily movement might look different every day. But don’t be afraid to push yourself – MOST times the best way to get out of your comfort zone or a “funk” is to push yourself with your body and on the flip side, don’t be afraid to take it easy and go for a walk or do some yoga if your body needs a break.

𝘌𝘔𝘗𝘖𝘞𝘌𝘙 𝘠𝘖𝘜𝘙𝘚𝘌𝘓𝘍 = this means that NO ONE else will do the hard work for you. YOU are responsible for your self – you never have to do life alone – but you do have to put your big girl panties on and own your $hit, take action and empower yourself to grow and become the best version of yourself! When you go ALL IN on your own goals no matter what anyone else say or think, you will be unstoppable. I believe in you, but𝘠𝘖𝘜 need to also believe in you 100% to create the life you want.

𝘓𝘌𝘈𝘕 𝘖𝘕 𝘠𝘖𝘜𝘙 𝘛𝘙𝘐𝘉𝘌As much as you need to own your stuff and be the one responsible for you. It’s also so important to have a tribe to lean on. I felt as I had to do life alone for a long time, because I had a hard time finding my kind of people, but I realized, that when we open up, when we “lean on others” we really can live our lives with purpose and joy. Friends, community, tribe – it should be a part of your daily healthy lifestyle. I created Toned Mamas with us all in mind; Lean in on me, on us, we got you girl. 💕

I constantly have these in the back of my mind – it’s helps, it keeps me motivated, it pushes me and I reach out to a friend when I’m having a rough day – something I never used to do before really.
